Grassland Oasis

"Cinna, i want an update on the war. Tell me if anythings happening yet." I told my bird as she took off.

"Hope this war is over soon. . . "

Saya burst out laughing. "A war, against cats and dogs, be over soon?!" She controlled herself. "I dont care how long it lasts, it should keep everyone busy enough to stay far away from us."

"But if they arnt fighting, they might not be so hostial towards others" Sunlit pointed out.

Saya gave a dark laugh, "Then tell me why we are shunned by our own families?!" She stared at her reflecton in her blade. "The beasts will always be hostile to ones they dont know. Thats why its better not to trust anyone...or so they say." Saya muttered darkly, shoving her blade into the ground.

"But without trust, you can go crazy. . . "

"And that's where you get Zant." Saya whispered.

"Do you really think there is a twilight realm?" Sunlit asked.
That must be where the shadows come from

"Yes there is." Ranger said, very matter-of-factly.

Cinna came back, "Its started." Was all she said. A spark of dangerous adventure flashed across Saya's eyes. "I'll be back." Saya said, sheathing her blade and morphing into a wolf. She gave a tail flick before taking off.

Sunlit followed soon after. She didnt want to be alone with Ranger for one, and she wanted to see what Saya was doing.

Saya put down Sunlit once they got back. "To answer your question, yes he was the one who burnt you."

"Can i eat him?" she asked, in one of her inocent voices.

Saya had to put a hand over her mouth to keep from laughing.
"Ah, no...there will be no eating of the beastie."

Ranger laughed, evem though he had no idea what they were talking about. He was odd like that. He heard rustling in the bushes. He pulled out a spear, spun it around, and asked, "Did anyne follow you back?"

"Not that i know of." Saya muttered, turing towards the sound.

Ranger silrntly into bushes, coming back out holding an iguana by the tail. It was wriggling and writhing. "Lemme go, you big brute!" It yelled. "No danger, I suppose." Ranger said, putting it down.

Saya walked over to the lizerd. "Funny things i always thought."

Sunlit sat on a rock and stayed there. She hated lizards

Saya gave it a good look. "Tails, nasty little whip things." She muttered.

Saya wondered what to do.

Sunlit had fallen asleep in a soft patch of grass, the sun had just bare;y broken the horizon.

Saya smiled when she saw Sunlit. Morphing into her wolf, Saya sat on top of the rock formation that hung over the pond.

Sunlit stirred a bit in her sleep. . . She was having a nightmare.

Sunlit was running through Hyrule feild, trying to make it back to Kakariko village unscathed. But that was hard with a battle raging around you. She transphormed wolf, to try and run faster, but that was a deadly mistake. Her darkish fur at least slighty resembuled that of the beast with blue eyes. Her own werew blue also. A monster cam in and swooped her up into it's grasp

Saya saw Sunlit, and basicly figured what was going on. She didnt move though. "Only a dream." She whispered. Saya had been the same once, having nightmares. But her's she never told, they seemed deathly real.
