On the Boundry.

Gail layed back to watch the sky as he ate, the fire warming his toes.

"So peaceful."

Gail let out a small laugh.
"Theres always so much going on. Its nice just to get away."

"Random question, how long are we planning on staying out here?"

Gail gave a small shrug.
"A few days?"

Kasa nodded, laying next to Gail.

"Thanks for asking me to come with" Gail almost whispered, his paws behind his head.

"You think i would leave you?" Kasa whispered back.

Gail let out a soft laugh.
"I woudlnt let you," her purred gently, smirking abit. He glanced at Kasa before looking back up at the stary sky.

"How did i know you were going to say that." Kasa snikered.

"Because we are best friends. . ." he smiled, almost sadly.

Kasa rolled to her knees and put her face above Gail's so she blocked out the sky. "Were more then friends and you know it." She said seriously, but with a smile.

Gail didnt know what to say. But for now he just kinda staired into her eyes, to him, they seemed endless.

Kasa started to cat blush a bit and gave an akward smile.

Gail laughed softly before pulling Kasa into a big hug.

Kasa let a purr escape as she returned the hug.

Gail purred to, not letting go just yet.

Kasa smiled shyly and gave Gail a quick kiss on the cheek before she darted into her tent.

Gail layed there, his eyes wide with shock, just stairing up at the sky. It took him a few more minutes before he came back to reality and crawled ito his own tent.

Kasa was wondering if what she did was the right thing to do, but sleep overtook her to quickly.

Gail lie awake for about an hour and a half longer, his mind buzzing. But he knew he had to sleep, so he strained his ears, his mind calmed by the natural sounds around him before he fell asleep.

Kasa was up early, so she climbed a tree and did nothing.

Gail slept in as usual, his cheek flat against the gound, his tongue in an akward position.

Kasa started a fire and cooked some more of the buck from last night.

Gail mumbled something, and after a few more minutes he began to stir. Finally, after 10 more minutes of struggling with conciousnees, he sat up, his hair in a huge mess. Crawling out, Gail blinked, his eyes quickly ajusting to the light of the sun and fire. First thing he saw was Kasa.
She really kissed me last night didnt she? he asked himself, remembering suddenly, but with protected thoughts. Kasa feels the same about me. . . But she's my best friend. . . Yet you like her alot more than that. . . Do you really love her? Gail fought with himself in his head as he sat near the fire, a mixture of happyness and confusion on his face.
